Intervention Specialist:

My name is Mallory Gersper and I am the Autism teacher at Cork Elementary. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education as well as Special Education from Mercyhurst College. I also hold a Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration of Applied Behavior Analysis from Mercyhurst College. I currently hold three licensures for elementary education pre-k to 3rd, special education mild to moderate and moderate to severe. I bring to Geneva four years teaching experience from Madison where I was one of their Autism teachers.

I enjoy reading, running, yoga and spending time with my family! I am a Geneva graduate and currently my husband and I reside in Geneva where we are raising our two children. I love being a Mom and teacher and could not imagine doing anything else! Cork is an amazing school and I look forward to a long career here. Go Corkers!

Glenyess Cook has been with Ashtabula County Educational Service Center for 4 years. Prior to working in education she worked in the medical profession. She is always asking questions and learning more about Autism and the strategies used in our classroom. She has a natural ability to “read” the students and their emotions. She is generous, kindhearted and cares for our students as if they are family.
