We are excited about the postcard exchange and cant wait to hear about your state. Arkansas is the 25th state of the United States. It has beautiful mountains, lakes, and rivers. It is the only state that has a diamond mine and diamonds can be kept if found. We are home of the Arkansas Razorbacks, President Bill Clinton, and Mike Huckabee. Conway is located about thirty miles from our capital in Little Rock. The Mockingbird is our state bird and the Pine Tree is our state tree. We have three colleges in our town, as well as, a company that makes school buses. Please write us soon and tell us all about your state and school.

Greetings from Arkansas, the Natural State!
Arkansas is full of natural resources. Some include trees, soybeans, water, and fertile soil. We are the only diamond producing state, and we are the number one rice producer in the US. Things we enjoy doing outdoors are camping, hiking, canoeing, fishing, and swimming.
Arkansas is the birth place of former President Bill Clinton, and country singer Johnny Cash. We are the only college team called the Razorbacks. Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton is from Arkansas, and his first store is located here. We hope you come visit Arkansas soon!
