| Aloha Postcard Pals, We are 5th graders from Royal School. Our school is known as the Chiefs Children School because its where Queen Emma and King Liholiho, etc, once attended. We are located in Honolulu, our capital city, which is located on the island of Oahu. Hawaii is made up of 8 main islands with beautiful beaches. Our states nickname is the Aloha State, and we have warm weather all year round, like in the 80 degrees. We were also the 50th state, last of the US. If you ever come to visit, some amazing sights to see are the famous Pearl Harbor of WWII, Arizona Memorial, Diamond Head Crater, Iolani Palace, Waikiki, and our active volcano on the Big Island called Mauna Kea. You can even take classes to learn how to dance the hula. Some popular activities are surfing, body boarding, parasailing, paddle boarding, hiking, and most outdoor sports.
