NORTH DAKOTA

pheasant
North Dakota is a very interesting state. The capital is Bismarck.  We have hot summers and cold, windy winters.  We are located on the Great Plains.  There are very few trees but lots of crops.  We grow corn, wheat, and soybeans.  We raise a lot of cattle too.  ND has a small population (just under 700,000), but the people are very nice.  Some famous people from our state are Jim Kleinsasser, Darin Erstad, and Roger Maris. You should visit our state someday. Lewis and Clark enjoyed an entire winter here.
