Puerto Rico is known as “The Island of Enchantment”.  It is an island in the West Indies.  The island has beaches, mountains, valleys, and beautiful modern cities.  Puerto Rico has a tropical climate.  Spanish is still the main language of Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico is home to the Caribbean National Forest.  This forest contains about 240 different types of trees and flowers.  There are many places to visit in Puerto Rico.  Our symbols are:  the coqui frog, the stripe-headed tanager, the Puerto Rican hibiscus and the Ceiba tree.
