lucky charms
St. Patrick's Day Project  is a collaborative Internet project hosted by Jennifer Wagner ,

Each class will count the number of marshmallow shapes: pots of gold, green hat, horseshoes, orange clover, moons, rainbows, hearts, and balloons in a 14 ounce box of Lucky Charms Cereal.  Each child will record his/her results on a tally sheet and create a graph to represent their count.  Student totals  will be added together to create a class count and  a class graph.  The class results will be sent to Jennifer Wagner between March 15 and March 20.  As a group we are trying to prove there are more green clovers than any other shape.  A grand total will be posted on March 21.

The children are wondering if their results will be the same as the grand total. They are thinking of writing General Mills about their findings.
