Helping My Parents
Helping my parents feed the
dogs. I’m giving the gift of time to mom and dad. I’m doing
this so we can spend time together. A gift of time by feeding the
dogs for a month. Mom and dad I’m giving you a gift of
time. So you can play together. I love you.

A Helping Hand
One day my cat got stuck in a
hole. This hole is by our stove. She needed some
help. So I gave her a helping hand. I had to pull her
out. She was meowing really bad. It made me almost
cry. I was helpful enough to get her
out. Then she jumped out by herself. I was really happy.

Time for Mom
My mom really needs
time. She is going to the hospital. I will help her with
Christmas. I will help decorate the tree. I will wrap
presents and write the
tags. I will help make food for Christmas dinner. I plan to
decorate a box filled with a letter to tell my mom. Time is a
good
gift to give my mom.

Helping My Family
I help my family.
Sometimes my family gets busy. I like to help out when I
can. My mom gives me chores but mostly I help out even before she
asks. I help out. I wash dishes, vacuum the floor, take out
the trash, and walk the dog. My mom loves it when I help, it
gives her more time to do other things.

The Gift of Happiness
My gift to Frisky is a pillow
of happiness. I’m going to give it to Frisky, my dead dog.
I’m
going to make her a pillow of happiness and memories. When I hold
it I will remember Frisky and Frisky will remember me. I’m going
to
tell her by tying notes to balloons and letting go of them. They
will
go to heaven. I’m going to put pictures inside the pillow.
I
love Frisky with all of my heart.

Gift
I am giving the gift of time
to someone I love. I am giving this gift to my dad because he
works very hard. I will shovel the driveway when it snows.
I am going to make a card and write in it. I want to help my dad
so he does not
have to work so hard.

The Gift of Helping and
Cleaning
I am giving the gift to my
mom. My gift is helping and clean. The gift is going to be
in an envelope. I am going to put a mop on the front and a broom
on the left and a vacuum on the right. I hope my mom is going to
like it.

Gift of Time
After reading Horton Hatches
the Egg I decided to do something nice for my mom and dad. I am
going
to bring wood in for our woodburning stove. The woodburner heats
our
house. My mom does not like to bring in the wood. So I will
help her by bringing wood in when the woodbox is empty. I will do
this by myself for four days. After that I will help my dad by
shooting
deer with him. He hunts deer in our woods with his bow and
arrow.
I like to go sometimes. Hunting in the woods and bringing in wood
is hard work but my mom and dad will like these gifts.

A Day Off for Mom
I am going to give my mom a day off because she
never gets time for herself. I’m giving this gift to my mom
because she
is the best mom in the world. I’m going to give her time by
washing
the laundry. Washing laundry is my mom’s least favorite job and
it
takes a lot of time. First I’ll gather all of the clothes.
Then
I’ll sort the dark clothes from the light clothes. Finally, I’ll
wash
and dry all the clothes. I’m going to give my mom her gift by
making
her a special coupon. Giving my mom a gift of time makes me happy.

With Love to Mom
My mom is so busy doing
things
to make my life better that she has little time to spend with me.
I
will give my mom the gift of time because I love her so very
much.
I will do all her jobs at home for her. I will clean the
house.
I will make the beds. I will help cook the food. I will do

dishes. I also will vacuum the floors. I will give my mom a
gift
certificate which will tell her what I am doing. By giving my mom
the
gift of time for my mom to spend with me and also my sister and brother.

Special Time with My Twin
Brothers
This holiday season I’m going
to give a special gift of time to my twin brothers because I love them.
One
of them love hotrods and to play marble races. For his gift I
will
spend special time with him, reading his hotrod books with him and
building
an awesome marble race tower. The other one really loves to color
with me so I will spend special time with him coloring. I have
two special little boxes I will give each of them. I will draw
pictures of their special gifts and put them in the boxes. I
think my brothers will
love their presents and it will make me feel good too.

like my mom. I will like to carry my mom’s crutches. I will

Caroling
Something I am doing nice for
people is caroling. I am going to a 55 or older community to
carol.
I think they would enjoy hearing the music. We will just show up
caroling. My gift of time is music. We will also invite
them to the Recreation Center for cookies and cocoa. Caroling is
fun and brings joy to people’s lives.

A Gift for My Sister
This holiday season I want to
help my little sister. She needs help cleaning her room.
She never needs help playing. She has a lot of toys and she knows
how to take them all out. She likes to get out toys like Dora and
Baby Alive. But she is always crying when it is time to clean
up. Maybe if I help her she will learn to clean up. This is
my gift of help for my little sister.

I want to give my mom and dad the gift of helping
them to do chores. I want to do this for them because they always

chores and work too. My mom and dad spend time with me and my
brother. This gift would give them more free time. I would
tell them in a card wrapped with a bow. I love my mom and dad and

Attention for My Rats
I’m going to give the gift of time to my male
rats. Their names are Snowy and Peepers. I am going to take
my rats out
of their cage. I will hold them and pet them. I will let
them
in their ball. They can run around in their ball. My rats
really like attention.

Baking pies for my mom this
Christmas gift. I’m baking pies for my mom. She is sick so
I will be the baker. She makes pies for Christmas gifts. So
I will surprise her by making them. I will give her my pies when
she gets better. My mom was very surprised and happy that helped
her this Christmas.

Helping My Brother
I will teach my brother how
to
tie his shoes. I want to teach him how to tie his shoes because
he
is trying so hard. I’m going to practice everyday with him.
I’m
going to give him a card that says free shoe tying lessons. Then
my
mom will be really happy when he ties his own shoes. My brother
will
be so surprised when he opens the gift.
