My Recycled Friend

I made a doll out of things I found in my room.  I made him to help me recycle.  He can sweep up streets with his broom.  He can also suck up snow with his nose.  He can rake leaves with his broom.  Turn him upside down to mop!  To make him I taped car and bear together.  I folded paper.  I recycled google eyes.  I used cut ribbon for his hair.  I like my recycled friend.

My Robot

I used an empty 7up bottle for my project.  I cut off the top.  Wrapped it in duct tape.  Then I used a black marker to draw a face.  I took buttons for his shirt.  My dad cut a hole in the top for change.  I will use him to save my change.

How I made Mr. Bobble Bottle Head

One day, my teacher assigned a homework assignment.  We had to make a creature of recycled items.  First, I got the paint and got to work.  Next, I painted the body.  Then, I put on the head and hat.  Finally I taped everything on.  Yes it was done.  He can take my tests in school too.  I named him Mr. Bobble Bottle Head.

The Foil Man from the Junkyard

My foil man is made of foil, plastic, and cotton.  We used glue and garbage ties to keep everything together.  We created this creature to bring awareness about recycling and the environment.  It can be used as a scarecrow in gardens.

Mrs. Piggy

My creature is a pig.  Her name is Mrs. Piggy.  She lives on a farm.  Mrs. Piggy loves to roll in mud when she goes outside.  Pigs are very colorful and I like them.  I made it out of a Pepsi bottle.  I made the ears out of popsicle sticks and cotton balls.  I made the feet out of toilet paper rolls.  It was fun trying to find stuff to make the pig.

My Test Taking Robot

My tummy always gets butterflies so I built a robot to take my tests.  The name of my creature is My Test Taking Robot.  First, I took a juice bottle for the body.  Then I got a smaller bottle for the neck and the head.  Next I got a cork for the nose, tinfoil for the hair, string for the mouth, buttons for the eyes and forks for the legs.  To put everything together I will use glue and tape.  Then I will decorate it with markers and stickers.  Next I had to fill my robot with all the information of our world.  First I would fill it with everything I have learned.  Then I would give the robot to my dad, doctor, librarian, and a police officer for them to teach the robot everything they know.  Now my robot is smarter than me and now can take my tests.

How I Made Mr. Blizzard

I chose to make a lizard.  I chose to make a lizard because I was chasing a lot of lizards in Florida.  There were about twelve of them by the pool everyday.  Whenever their throats turn red and pop out that means they’re looking for their girlfriends.  If you grab one by its tail, it might fall off, but that’s okay because it will grow a new tail.  I made Mr. Blizzard out of a tootsie roll container, a ball from our toy box and some green paper and pipe cleaners from our desk.  I found a seashell on the beach in Florida, and made a necklace for him.  I like my lizard that I made.

Billy Saves the Planet

Billy is a creature made out of an old plastic bottle and a Styrofoam plate.  Billy eats all kinds of plastic.  His favorite plastic is the plastic bags from the grocery store.  Billy loves the planet and enjoys helping to save the planet.  I made Billy because I had the materials to make him.  I like Billy because he is cool.  Billy is the Number 1 creature.

My Robot

My robot’s name is Bottles and he is nice.  His name is Bottles because he is made from containers from things you drink.  He has bottle caps for his eyes and mouth.  My dad helped me get the bottles and put them together.  His job is to help people remember to recycle things.  He can also help people recycle.  I made him to remind people how many things you can recycle instead of throwing them away.  I think Bottles is a great robot.

Recyclantor 3000

This story is all about my Recyclantor 3000.  It is a tilted a little bit and has a top made out of a cereal box and a bottom made out of a juice bottle.  I also used paper and plastic bags, plastic silverware, coin rolls, rubber bands, tape, straws, bottle tops, and a tape roll.  My Recyclantor 3000 eats garbage and recycles it.  I t does this when it digests the garbage.  I created my Recyclantor because there is a lot of garbage on this earth.  With my Recyclantor it can help save Earth.  It can do that because it recycles things.  My Recyclantor 3000 is a hero.

The Hopping Lionews

Have you ever seen a lionews with wings and 3 tails?  Well I made one.  Each of its tails has a different job.  One tail eats food, another smells, and the last one picks up stuff.  My creature has two wings, but it does not fly.  Its wings are made of a milk jug.  The lionews jumps around on its one leg.  Every place it jumps it leaves some news.  It has a plastic top mane to help him catch bugs.  If he stays in one place too long he will fall asleep.  Can you watch my lionews for me?

The Can Monster

My can monster is Dolly monster.  Dolly likes to eat grapes and seeds.  I made Dolly from an oatmeal container and other recycled materials.  She likes to do gymnastics.  She jumps on the trampoline and tumbles on the mat.  I made a creature who likes gymnastics because I like to do gymnastics.  Dolly recycles too because she wants to help the environment.

The Friendly Pink Pig

It is a singing pig.  I made this pig because pigs are cute.  My pink pig could sing.  I made it out of a tissue box with paper rolls for its legs.  Pink construction paper is for skin.  A lid and fruit cup is for the face and nose.  My singing pig is the cutest pig I ever made.

My Creature

I made a thirteen year old girl.  She has beautiful ruby slippers.  She can go home from anywhere with her ruby slippers.  I created this creature because it is a homework assignment.  To create this creature you need a hot glue gun.  You need a water bottle.  You need two water bottle caps.  If I wanted a creature I would definitely choose her.

A Pig Named Trash

My creature is a pig named Trash.  His favorite food is pop cans.  He is pink with floppy ears.  My pig is very special because he keeps the environment clean.  My pig’s body is made out of a plastic coffee can.  His eyes are made of very old buttons.  I glued on egg cartons for feet.  His nose is a Dixie cup.  I papier-mâché him and painted him pink.  My pig is great for the environment.
