The Austinburg Groundhogs did not see
their shadows at 9:30 a.m. on February 2, 2008.
That means we should see an early Spring!

After much discussion we decided
to have a family of groundhogs and their relatives for Project Groundhog.
Dad is a groundhog from Austinburg, Ohio. His name is Shadow.
His wife, Clover is a badger. Her parents live in Germany.
Her dad has been predicting the weather in Germany for many years. They
have three children. Their oldest child is a girl name Daisy. They
also have twin baby sons named Hershey and Kiss. Their Uncle Spike,
a hedgehog from England also lives in their burrow. In his younger days
Uncle Spike was a weather predictor in England.
