ALASKA

<>Hi!  We are a kindergarten class of 14 boys and 8 girls.  We call our class the Bee Team.  We go to school at K-Beach Elementary in Soldotna, Alaska.
We have lots of fun in Alaska.  We like to sled, ice skate, snowboard, fish, canoe, and ride our snowmachines.  Many of us hunt and fish for our food. <>Many different animals live in our neighborhood.  We see moose, caribou, wolves, bears, red squirrels, and eagles all the time.  In Cook Inlet which is a large body of water near us, we see beluga whales, king crabs, puffins, seals, otters, and sometimes walruses.  Dall sheep and mountain goats live on the big mountains near our school.
Alaska is a nice state to live in.  In winter we have lots of snow and in the summer we have lots of wildflowers and big fish.

Our school is Bay Shore Elementary.  It’s a three story school and its fun and has a huge playground.  I love snowboarding and shopping.  My friend likes to dance hip-hop.  My other friend likes to play soccer and flag football.  We live in Anchorage, Alaska.  We do not live in igloos, we live in houses.  Thanks so much.
