SOUTH CAROLINA

We are a third grade from a small town in SC called Walterboro. We are near Charleston, SC which is large city full of history. In our class, we have nineteen students in our class. We live near the coast so we enjoy all of the coastal activities. Our county is basically rural. Walterboro is a great place to live! We have a Smart Board in our room which is neat.

Greetings from Simpsonville, SC. We are a growing suburb right on the outskirts of Greenville. We have close to 1200 students in our school. We are located in the Piedmont region of our state. SC has 4 distinct seasons and beautiful landscapes. There are the Blue Ridge Mountains to the north, rolling rapids, and beautiful sandy beaches on the western coast. Our nickname is the Palmetto State. Our state bird is the Carolina Wren. Our state hospitality drink is iced tea.
