ART
Miss Parker
| Dear Parents/Guardian, I am pleased to be your child's Art teacher this year and look forward to a rewarding year for all of us. I believe that no child should interfere with my teaching or with another child's learning. To provide the best Art class environment I will be utilizing this discipline plan. RULES 1. Follow directions the first time given. 2. Raise hand and wait to be called on. 3. Handle all supplies carefully, no wasting or horseplay. 4. No words or actions that hurt anyone or anything in class. REWARDS 1. Verbal praise and positive notes. 2. Grab-bag gifts. 3. Special Helper awards. CONSEQUENCES (If a student chooses to break a rule.) First Time: Warning - name is written down. Second Time: Five minute time-out. Third Time: Ten minute time-out Fourth Time: Ten minute time-out and parents notified. Fifth Time: Child is sent to office and parents are called for a conference. SEVERE CLAUSE: Used for fighting, vandalism, severely disrupting class, defying teacher. Child will be sent immediately to the office. As a parent you are the most significant influence in your child's life, and with your support we will create an excellent learning opportunity this year. I will discuss this plan with every class, and I will appreciate you taking the time to review this plan with your child. If necessary you can contact me at school, 466-4831. Thank you, Bonnie J. | Dear Parent/Guardian, Thank you so much for all the useful supplies that many of you have sent in to help with our Art projects. We will continue to collect: Styrofoam egg cartons and paper towel tubes. If other items are needed, I will let the students know as the year goes by. Reminder!!!
All students need short-sleeved paint shirts
or really old clothing for any future Art projects that could be messy. Thanks again! Bonnie J. Parker |
