Babysitting
available for meeting at $1.00 per child which will be paid
to the babysitter. Remember to fill out your PTO
application which entitles you to voting rights for only $1.00.

Remember to
check out monthly flyers sent
home with your child and place monthly orders turned into PTO or
order online to Market Day, the profit from your orders goes back into
the classrooms/school. Our goal is to raise $3,000.00 this
year. We need your help in reaching this goal.

Captain's Reading Program - watch students folder for this flyer,
usually in March.

Accelerated Reader - Is a program that Mrs. Haesler, 5th grade teacher,
introduced to our school for our 1st -6th , which has help students
with bringing up their reading levels.

Cork Elementary 2010-2011 Yearbooks

School Store is held Wednesday's & Thursday's during lunch from
11:15am to 1pm. Volunteers are needed to run the
store.

Spirit wear for our school - we are in the process of a design and ask
that you watch for flyers in students folders. At that time show
off school spirit.

Cork PTO would like to WELCOME you to our

Please remember it is very important to check
your students folder daily
and read all the flyers that come home so that you do not miss
out on all the special events sponsored by PTO. We highly
recommend that you take the time to read the monthly newsletters, where
you will find important information about our school and upcoming
events.
A TIP FROM DEBBIE HURST mother of 4 (8th, 6th, 5th, & 2nd grade)
& PTO President:
1. Use the Geneva School
calendar that comes in the mail as your main calendar. As you
read important dates from your students folder, mark it down on that
calendar. Otherwise you will miss out on important
information. Plus, if you want to volunteer for any PTO event and
work, you can make arrangements prior to the event.
2.
If your child is in Kindergarten, I found it easier to follow
what days they went to school by highlighting the days they attend,
especially those every other Friday. This information is on the Geneva
Schools calendar.

member of the Cork PTO. Your membership enables you to voice
opinions, run for an office/board seat, and to elect the next
office/board member. Membership dues are $1.00 per person.
Anyone is welcome to become a member, parents, grandparents, aunts, and
