Over the weekend a "look alike" Twitter account (with my name attached) sent a message that school was closed - this was not sent by me on Sunday evening (12/11/16). I sent a messsage out to Twitter followers reminding them to check multiple sources for cancellations. On Monday, December 12th, I did cancel school due to road conditions in the southern part of the district. I tweeted the information out, had a district administrator complete an automated call, placed the closing on the homepage of our website and had the district contact the local television and radio stations. I have attached a letter that provides some important information and details about the process when closing or delaying school. Please take a moment to read the information.
