Reading Action Statements
*1. Use the Accelerated Reader Program to increase individual student reading levels by 0.5 per semester, as measured by the Star Reading test.

Kindergarten will increase individual student listening comprehension to a level of 80%, as measured by Accelerated Reader tests.

*2. Increase percentage of families involved in the reading log process to 80% participation, as measured by weekly return rate.

*3. At least once per week, after a sustained silent reading period, students will respond to a writing prompt with 80% accuracy, as measured by a teacher developed rubric/checklist.

Math Action Statements
*1. Increase percentage of families involved in the guided homework practice to 80% participation, as measured by daily return rate.

*2. When given a fact assessment, students will achieve at least 80%.

Language Arts Action Statement
*Writing- When given a writing prompt, students will respond with 80% mastery as measured by a teacher developed rubric or checklist.

*Speaking- Students will be able to demonstrate correct grammar when speaking as measured by teacher observation and feedback .
