SPTO OFFICERS

OBJECTIVES OF THE SPENCER PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION
1.  To bring into clear relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the training of the child.
2.  To  maintain between education and the general public such united efforts, as will secure for every child, the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.
3.  To generate revenue as needed to improve the Spencer Elementary School in accordance with educational and recreational needs.
4.  To provide various activities for the Spencer Elementary School Community, that would emphasize parent/child relationships.

 
MEMBERSHIP
1.  Any person interested, who is willing to uphold our basic policies and subscribe to its by-laws may become a member upon payment of dues.
2.  The annual dues shall be all-inclusive for membership and shall amount to $1.00 (one dollar) per member/family.
2.  Membership is open throughout the school year.

 
MEETINGS
1.  Regular meetings of the SPTO shall be held at least seven times per year.
2.  The regular meeting in the month of May shall be the annual meeting, at which time, annual reports shall be given and new officers elected.
3.  Meetings are held the first Monday of each month, starting promptly at 7 p.m.
