Here are some important updates regarding completely virtual and hybrid learning at Geneva Middle School. First, for virtual students that received Chromebooks during our material pick up day this past Wednesday, there have been some technical issues with activation. Those Chromebooks should be activated and ready for use Monday morning.
Virtual students are then expected to begin following their academic schedules beginning on Tuesday September 8th.
Also, please be reminded that Monday is not a school day.
Second, for our Hybrid students, Beginning with the week of September 14th, A and B grouped students are expected to follow their normal school schedule on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday of each week either in person or via zoom. As a reminder with this schedule, Wednesdays will be independent work days where students will have the opportunity to contact teachers through posted office hours. We expect there to be a few bumps in the road during this process and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding during these times as we get everything synced up.
Lastly, Please be reminded that students need to return all paperwork that was distributed to them on their next in person day including the technology survey.
