Early Release Day

Geneva Schools will have an early release day on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Students who normally get picked up will be dismissed at 1:50PM and bus riders will be dismissed at 2:15PM. Early release days are scheduled to provide time for teacher planning, professional development, and other essential school operations that support your child’s education.

Geneva Rotary Visit: Every year the Geneva Rotary Club visits our 3rd grade students and gives out a dictionary to each student. They spend time going over the dictionary contents and how the dictionary is an important resource even in the days of using technology.

Cough Drops: Current district discussion has focused on students having cough drops during the school day. When reviewing policy, it seems that cough drops are considered over the counter medication and will need to have a healthcare provider sign the Authorization to Administer Prescription or OTC Medication. If you need the authorization form, please contact the school nurse or the office.

Cold Weather: We have entered into colder days. Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. If the temperature/windchill is 15 degrees or lower, students will stay inside for recess otherwise they will go out. Hats, gloves, boots and snow pants are recommended.

Student Council Spirit Days:

November 24th  -Scarecrow vs Crow Day  Dress like a scarecrow or a crow on this crazy Mismatch Day

November 25th-Turkey vs. Pilgrim Day  Wear brown/fall colors like a turkey

or dress in Black and White like a pilgrim

November 26th- Kittens with Mittens PJ Day-  Wear your most comfortable snuggly  pjs and bring a stuffie to read with.
