Tuffy
SOARing Eagles
This is an incentive to recognize students and staff. Chosen students and/or staff get their picture taken with Tuffy, a backsack, a coin for the book vending machine (for applicable buildings), and a phone call to his/her person of choice to share the good news. The SOARing Eagles will also be recognized at a Board Meeting (Jan or May).

*Please check out our SOARing Eagles for the month of January!

Austinburg - 3rd grade, Stewart Krause, chosen by Mrs. Knapp.  Stewart is a great student who works as hard as he can and never gives up.  He gets nervous about some activities in gym class, but he attempts them anyway.  He is shy at first in a big classroom, but he cares so much about his friends.  Once he knows you, he will joke and laugh and tell stories.  He comforts anyone he sees who is upset or crying.  He tries to include everyone in every activity we do.  Stewart is brave and strong even when he isn't feeling his best.

Cork - Kindergartener, Kane Siesel, chosen by Mrs. Ellis.  Kane soars everyday in our Kindergarten classroom.  He is a very kind and helpful friend to all.  Kane always includes friends who have no one to play with.  Our class is very lucky to have Kane in it!

GPS - Kindergartener,  Kash Brooks, chosen by Mrs. Pfouts.  Kash is a very polite and conscientious student.  He is a very hard worker, and always tries his best to do a good job.  Kash is a good friend and a positive role model for his fellow classmates.  He demonstrates Soaring Eagle qualities on a daily basis.

MS - 8th grade, Grace Andrus, chosen by Mr. Clugh.  Grace has earned straight A's the entire year in both Science and the Announcements and is a model student in every capacity.  She routinely goes above and beyond to ensure both her schoolwork and our daily productions are completed above expectations.  She is respectful to her fellow classmates and can be trusted to handle the assortment of tasks given to her.  GMS is fortunate to have a person such as Grace representing us.

HS - 9th grade, Bria Lewis, chosen by Mr. Belconis.  Bria is an outstanding student who leads by example.  She goes above and beyond on assignments and always has a positive attitude.  Bria is extremely respectful and volunteers in class.  She continues to set a standard in class and brings an energy which positively impacts our learning environment.  She should be proud of what she has accomplished thus far and continue to be the positive light she has been in our classrooms.
