Austinburg - 3rd grade, Carlisle Caruthers, chosen by Mrs. Nelson.  Carlisle exemplifies a SOARing Eagle by doing what’s right when nobody's looking.  He is self-motivated to do his best each day.  He shows pride in himself and in his classroom. Carlisle demonstrates how to work diligently and how to stay on task even if the work is challenging.  He is always positive, lends a helping hand or a kind word to peers, tries even when things are difficult, and he can always be found with a smile on his face.

Cork - 3rd grade, Elsie Joneschosen by Mrs. Jackam.  Elsie is an excellent role model for exhibiting the characteristics of a PAX Leader.  She is organized and caring.  She enjoys helping others.  Elsie also works hard at school and has lots of friends.  She does a wonderful job of being a leader at Cork.

GPS - 2nd grade, Emma Cutlip, chosen by Mrs. Cochran.  Emma is a very kind and loving young lady.  She is always willing to offer others a helping hand and is often quick to volunteer to assist me or others in need. She is a hard worker and is always trying her best. She is a great participant in class. Often willing to offer her input and added thoughts in our daily class discussions. Emma is an all around PAX leader and certainly deserves to be awarded this wonderful honor.

MS - 6th grade, Nicholas Ginn, chosen by Ms. Adams.  Nicholas is a kind, well mannered 6th grader.  He will address you by name with a "Good Morning" at the beginning of class and "Have a good day" at the end of class.  He is a conscientious worker and always works to the best of his ability.  Nicholas respects his teachers and his classmates and truly portrays the characteristics of a SOARing Eagle.

HS - 10th grade, Sarah Cybulski, chosen by Mr. Chiappazzi.  Sarah is a very hard worker who is always determined to do a good job.  She takes a lot of pride in her work.  She always has a positive attitude and puts everyone around her in a good mood.  Sarah is very friendly, funny, outgoing and willing to help anyone with anything. Sarah will volunteer to help whenever needed, being extremely reliable when doing so. She is an all around excellent student, excellent person and a pleasure to have in class.
