Information about any CONFIRMED cases of COVID-19 in the district are located under NEWS on the website. Each case is dated and provides information about the school and potential exposure.
A robo-call went out on 9/7/20 to share information about FREE breakfast and lunch for any student (ages 1 -18). The Geneva Schools was approved to provide free breakfast and lunch to our community. All students in school can receive a free breakfast and lunch. All online students or students not enrolled can receive breakfast and lunch. Meals can be picked up for multiple days or the whole week. Pickups will be at Austinburg, Cork and GPS from 9:30 am - 10:30 am ...and GMS and GHS from 9am - 10 am. There will be no remote pickup sites and no home delivery for this program.
The District is having some phone line issues (calls coming in or our ability to call outside numbers)... please be patient. Windstream is trying to locate the circuit issues. Thank you!

Return to School Plan for Families The plan will be released this week (Aug. 10th - 14th). A robo-call will be sent out notifying parents and students that the plan has been updated and released. The District is still making some changes but it is anticipated that the plan will be released tomorrow (Wednesday, August 12th). Thank you!
Robo-call : A call will go out to all families tonight. It reminds families to check on the website for details and information about the "Return to School" plan. In addition, the new website has many new features... the mobile app (available from Google Play and the Apple Store) will provide real-time updates when all of the tools are being used. There are still some corrections and issues that are being worked out with our new website vendor. Finally, some families have not returned Chromebooks that were loaned in the spring to students. Please return Chromebooks to the Board of Education Office (135 S. Eagle St.) by Aug. 3rd. We would like to get all of our technology cleaned and updated before the school year begins. Thank you!
The "Return to School" plan is coming soon! Due to some additional changes and discussions with various school employees and groups, the plan is still being finalized. The District will provide more details about our plan during the week of August 10th to our families and community. Please see the timeline and updated letter under "NEWS" for more information.
District Telephones - After a 24 + hour issue with the district phones, they are operating again! Thank you for your patience!
DISTRICT TELEPHONES - The District telephones have been out for the last 24 hours (and are still out as of 2:27 PM - 7/14/20). We are working with Windstream to correct the issue. Outside caller can't call in and the district is unable to call out (to an outside number) from our phones. If you need to contact someone in the district, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will relay your message. Please put PHONE CALL in the subject line.
RETURN TO SCHOOL REGISTRATION / SURVEY AVAILABLE NOW... it is located under NEWS on the website. Click SEE ALL NEWS to get to the link. The form is not an official registration form but it will provide valuable information to the District and allow our families to share their thoughts about the start of school. The form can be completed online or printed copies are available at the Board Office (135 S. Eagle St.). We are asking for survey to be completed or returned by Tuesday, July 14th. With the "Reset and Restart" guidance provided by Governor DeWine yesterday, various plans are being considered. Please check back on the website for more information about the 2020-2021 school year. A "Restart and Return Registration" / Survey will be available for all families to complete online starting Wednesday, July 8th. Thank you for your support and patience!

Our new website and app was just released. We will be providing more information to families as we finalize and correct some information.
